Dentist Time!

So it's been six months since KC's last dentist appointment. Today was one of those days where I should have just stayed in bed I think or wrapped myself in bubble wrap. First off we were late, which is not outside the norm for us. We were rushing to get out of the house and everything was hectic but I got us out of the house dressed and in one piece. YAY ME! We got there , we sign in and I go to sit down. Easy right? Not for me not today. I sat down and THERE WAS NO CHAIR THERE!! Yes that's right I fell on my ass in front of the entire office staff. A dental tech came running out asking if I was ok and if I needed an ice pack or anything. Can you put an ice pack on your bruised ego?  After sitting there a second because well I didn't know what else to do I got up and plopped down on one of the stools in front of one of the office's Ipads. I put KC on the stool next to me. She played on the Ipad a bit then curled up on my lap and went to sleep. The same tech that came out to see if I was ok came out to call KC back to the exam room. I put her in the dental chair and she went right back to sleep. The dental tech started to brush her teeth and boy did she wake up quickly. She flipped over and flipped out. The tech put on Frozen and my tiny human calmed down and went back to sleep. I love that they have TV monitors on the ceiling. Heck they should have those for adults too lol. KC was sleep when the dentist came in.Again my poor princess woke up to someone with their hands in her mouth. She flipped out again but the dentist gave her a hug and all was well with the world. She really likes her dentist. She let the dentist do everything she needed to do including counting her teeth. She currently has 16 teeth, no cavities and a "strong bite". Want to guess how they found out she has a strong bite?

After the dentist I went to pay bills and do some grocery shopping at my favorite local store. I tripped walking into the store and my shoe came off walking through the parking lot. Like I said I should have stayed in bed. I get inside and grab a basket. I'm walking up and down the isles and ram my basket into a soda display and knock everything down. Everyone was staring but no one offered to help pick anything up. So I picked it all up by myself. This is the point I should have gone home but no I'm stupid. After walking around some more and a couple more stumbles I gave up, got in line and paid for my items. We ran to a few more stores without incident ...thankfully.... and then we headed H-O-M-E. I walked in the house, looked at the stairs and thought maybe I should hang out down stairs for awhile and not try to tackle the stairs since I was having issues staying ON my feet. lol  So the royal princess and I played down stairs until bedtime and now here I sit watching TV and typing to you all. It was an interesting day to say the least.

Portion Control Containers REVIEW

As someone who's still working to get rid of her baby weight (can we still call it that? I mean she'll be 2 in a few days lol) these portion control containers are awesome. I have always had a love / hate relationship with food. When I think something is a small portion it really isn't So these containers help give me a visual of what actual portions should look like even when I'm eating out. The containers are easy to use, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, BPA free and freezer safe. I love that the brightly colored containers  together when they are not in use. They are also great for lunch boxes. I haven't had one leak yet. The plastic is thick and high quality. They're sturdy and can stand being thrown around in a lunch box without breaking. Overall an awesome set.

IBCam REVIEW!!!

I really wanted to love this cam but I just don't. It's a good cam if you have natural lighting coming into the room it's in. If you don't you get this foggy type of picture. The night vision part has your typical foggy night vision feed but it only shows MAYBE 3 feet in front of the camera. Even three feet in front of the camera is pushing it. Anything further than that is just a foggy blurry mess. The app is just eh. I never got it to work on my Iphone 6 or my Iphone 5c but it did work on my Ipad. The app and install is pretty easy to use on the Ipad. What I found works best for this cam is sticking it under a window during the day and really close to your child's bed at night. The cord could make it problematic when trying to place it close to your child's bed. It could be a strangulation hazard. So PLEASE be very careful. Overall it's a good starter cam for to help parents ease their minds. If you're looking for awesome quality video this just isn't the cam for you unless you have natural light 24/7. The cam is light weight and made from good quality plastic.

Car seat bag REVIEW!!!

This is a great quality car seat bag. This is an awesome bag for someone who is traveling with their child's car seat but not using it on the plane. Tho the safest thing for a child on a plane is to have their own seat and to be IN their car seat....I understand not everyone can afford this. For those people this bag is a great option. If you gate check your car seat you can put it in this bag, draw string it closed and carry it via the strap to the gate where it can be checked. I however use it as a storage bag for my daughter's extra car seats. I like to have extra car seats just in case anything ever happens. This bag fits all of my daughter's infant and convertible car seats. Everything from our more "compact" Graco 4Ever seat to our much larger Orbit and Clek seats all fit perfectly. It really is universal. The material used to make the bag is nice and strong. You don't have to worry about the bag ripping with normal use.

Live Infinitely Exercise Ball REVIEW

I have a few yoga style balls and all of them seem kinda flimsy at best. I even sat on one while I was in labor. I would have much rather had this ball when I was in labor. The ball itself is a thick sturdy material. It can hold up to 2200 pounds. So if you're a weight lifter you can balance on the ball and lift your free weights. I'm on the short side (5'2" tall) and the ball is a great size for me to work out with and balance on. I used my electric air pump to fill it (not included) and it filled quickly and was easy to "plug". Overall a great product.

Premium Sushi Chef's Knife REVIEW

As someone who cooks on a daily basis I'm always on the look out for great quality kitchen equipment. These knives rank right up there with some of my favorites. These knives are high quality especially for the price. The wood handles are easy to grip. Where the blade and handle "connect" is secured by a large black plastic piece. I know when you hear plastic you think low quality but not in this case. The blades so not move at all making  using these knives very safe when used properly. The only issue you'll have is "user error" lol  The blades are nice and thick. They also have a good weight to them. Not the cheap skinny blades you see in many of the big box retailers. These are high end chef knives.
