You scream I scream we all scream for ICE CREAM...Museum !!!

We got to go to the most Instagrammable (is that even a word? lol) place ever! We went to the Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles.  I tried to get tickets each time they went on sale and never had any luck until the next to the last time they went on sale. At the time of course they said it was the LAST time so I was on a mission. After sitting in the virtual line for almost 2 hours I was abe to purchase our tickets. I got them 2 months ahead of our trip.

Off to Los Angeles we went! Now let me just say this awesome place isn't in the most awesome location. It kinda looks like the LA you see on an episode of Dateline where people get killed. I'm a Californian so eh I didn't much mind lol We valet parked the car and headed for the entrance. We had to go stand in line with the rest of our tour people. Outside they have this really neat play area for the kids and adults to enjoy. I knew if i let Kennady see it before the tour we'd never get her out of there. So we stood in line and waited for our tour time.

Finally our very happy tour guide came out and told us all about the rules of the museum. THEN SHE OPENED THE DOORS!!! It was like stepping into a pretty pink dream.  The first thing you see are pretty pinks walls covered with ice cream and candy. Of course Kennady had to touch it all BUT that's kinda what this place is about....well most of it. You get to pick as many Dove chocolates out of the ice cream cart before going into the next room.
You get into yet another pink room where there are phones. You pick up the phone and follow the directions they tell you on the phone.  The recording tells you go head into the next room.

It's California so of course it's Hollywood themed complete with a guess the flavor ice cream game. They had cute palm trees with pink crystal "grass". Kennady fell in love with the pink crystals. I wont lie so did I. As you can tell she totally thinks I'm a dork.

The next room is all about bananas! The wallpaper is scratch and sniff. It really did smell like bananas. Which was totally neat. They had banana swings too but Kennady had no interest in them after she saw the room full of hanging bananas. The rules say do not touch but when you have a toddler the first thing they want to do is touch. So I tried my best to keep her hands off them. As you can see I didn't do a very good job but none of them tangled or were damaged.

Next was the mint room. This room was my friend Dani's favorite. They had mint MOCHI!!! The best mochi I've actually ever tasted. Everything in the room in mint green and they even have living mint plants that make the room smell amazing. Oh and did I mention they let you have as much of the mint mochi as you want!!!?!?!

All the colors were so bright and so much fun. It was also kind of cool knowing you are standing in the same spot Beyonce was standing in. Yep I'm lame like that lol
Since's it a museum of course they had all sorts of art work and neat things to look at (and not touch). I fell in love with the ice cream sundae shoes.
They had these cool sculptures of popsicles on the floor and coming out of the walls. They were roped off so we couldn't touch them. We were also rushed through the room like they didn't want  anyone in there. WHY put up something if you don't want people to stop and look at it? Makes no sense to me. At least we got one pictures with the wall-pops.
GUMMY BEARS GUMMY BEARS!!! KC was very excited for the gummy bear room. I'll admit it so was I because gummy bears are one of the few allergy friendly candies she can actually eat like most other kids.

KC and Dani eating their weight in gummy bears. They kept going back to the gummy bear room eve tho they weren't supposed to go backwards in the tour. They kinda just went back and hung out there eating and sitting with the gummy bears for awhile.

Now on to one of the funnest things I've ever done. A pool full of plastic SPRINKLES!!! Some kids would be like NO I'm not ging in there. NOT MINE!! She went right in and played.
