With a toddler who loves to eat having a plate that stays in place is VERY important. I love that this place mat and plate combo suctions right to the table and doesn't move. My daughter has yet to be able to take it off. It's made of high grade silicone which means it's not some cheap mat that will fall apart in the dish washer. YES I said dishwasher this mat is dish washer safe. I have washed it multiple times on the top rack and it has come out just fine. I love the size of the sections. They are all the perfect size for toddler meals. Overall this is an amazing product for children and adults alike.
