I have naturally curly hair so it's hard to find a flat iron that will make my hair really straight for a long period of time. They never seem to get hot enough to truly straighten. The very first time I used my ISA iron I was shocked. Not only was my hair straight but it was straight and shiny. It looked healthier than t has in a long time. The digital temperature screen is bright and clearly readable. You can choose your temperature setting. If you do not choose it it automatically goes to 450 degrees. I Leave mine set on 450 due to how curly my hair is. I have been able to straighten and spiral curl my hair with this iron. I spiral curl by wrapping my hair around the outside of the iron. It has an auto shut off which is great if you have to walk away to tend to something. This is by far the best iron I have ever owned.
